Buy Solar Together. Reduce the Cost Together.
Solar Together is a group-buying programme created to help Jamaican households and businesses access quality solar equipment at better overall purchasing costs.
Instead of each customer purchasing and importing a small individual order, Solar Together combines participating customers’ equipment requirements into larger consolidated orders.
For example, one household may require 6 solar panels and another may require 3. Their requirements can form part of a larger combined order, helping spread shipping, freight and other shared import-related costs across participating customers.
Each customer still receives a solar solution based on their own property, electricity needs and budget.

HOW THE GROUP BUY SAVES YOU MONEY
By combining participating customers’ solar equipment requirements into larger consolidated orders, Solar Together can help spread purchasing, shipping, freight and other shared import-related costs while each customer still receives equipment suited to their own needs.

STEP 1
YOU CHOOSE WHAT YOU NEED
Every customer has different requirements. You may need a complete solar system, a few panels, a battery, an inverter, or equipment that allows you to start small and expand later.

STEP 2
WE COMBINE CUSTOMER ORDERS
Solar Together combines participating customers’ equipment requirements into a larger consolidated purchase while keeping each customer’s individual requirements clearly identified.

STEP 3
SHARED COSTS ARE SPREAD
Larger combined orders can help spread freight, shipping and other shared import-related costs across participating customers instead of each household importing a small order separately.

STEP 4
YOU RECEIVE YOUR OWN SOLAR SOLUTION
Your equipment remains based on your own property, electricity needs and budget. Group buying does not mean every customer receives the same solar system.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO BUY EVERYTHING AT ONCE
Going solar does not have to mean paying for a complete system immediately. Solar Together is designed to help customers choose a practical starting point based on their needs, property and available budget, with the ability to expand later where technically appropriate.
START SMALL. EXPAND WHEN YOU’RE READY.
The objective is to create a sensible pathway into solar rather than requiring every customer to purchase the largest system immediately. Future expansion must always be based on equipment compatibility, electrical requirements and an appropriate assessment.

OPTION 1
MAKE YOUR HOME SOLAR-READY
Start with essential preparation such as suitable electrical upgrades, distribution equipment, isolation and other required work so the property is better prepared for solar equipment later.

OPTION 2
START WITH SOLAR PANELS
Customers who are ready to begin generating solar power may start with an appropriate number of panels and compatible equipment, depending on the design of their system.

OPTION 3
START WITH BATTERY / BACKUP POWER
For customers concerned about power outages, an appropriate battery or backup solution may be a practical first stage, subject to assessment and system compatibility.

OPTION 4
BUILD A COMPLETE SYSTEM
Customers who are ready can choose a more complete solution incorporating appropriate solar panels, inverter technology, battery storage and associated equipment based on their individual requirements.
WHAT CAN YOU BUY THROUGH SOLAR TOGETHER?
Solar Together is not limited to one type of solar product. Depending on the customer’s assessment, budget and system design, participating customers may be able to obtain individual components, starter systems or more complete solar solutions through the group-buying programme.
YOUR SYSTEM IS BASED ON YOUR NEEDS – NOT A ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL PACKAGE.
The Solar Together assessment helps determine what equipment may be appropriate for your property, electricity use, budget and preferred starting point.

SOLAR PANELS
Quality solar panels suitable for residential, small business and other approved installations. Final panel type, wattage, quantity and manufacturer will depend on the customer’s system design and the approved group order.

BATTERY STORAGE
Battery storage can provide backup power and, depending on the system design, allow more solar energy to be stored for use when needed. Capacity and battery type will depend on the individual customer’s requirements.

INVERTERS & MICROINVERTERS
Appropriate inverter technology may include string inverters, hybrid inverters or microinverters depending on the system design, equipment compatibility and installation requirements.

MOUNTING & RACKING
Suitable roof or ground-mounting systems may be included where required. The correct mounting solution depends on roof type, installation location, structural requirements and system design.

SOLAR-READY ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
Some customers may need electrical preparation before solar equipment is installed. This can include suitable distribution equipment, isolation, protection and other approved electrical preparation required for the property.

COMPLETE OR EXPANDABLE SYSTEMS
Where appropriate, customers may choose a complete solar system or a smaller expandable system combining compatible panels, inverter technology, battery storage and related equipment.
TRANSPARENT COSTS. NO HIDDEN EQUIPMENT MARKUP.
Solar Together Jamaica is designed around a simple principle: participating customers combine their purchasing power to help reduce the individual cost of importing solar equipment into Jamaica.
Myall Enterprise does not aim to make its profit by adding an undisclosed markup to the solar equipment purchased through the Solar Together group-buying programme. Equipment and shared import-related costs are allocated transparently, while installation and professional services are quoted separately where required.

YOUR US$300 COMMITMENT
A US$300 administration and assessment fee is paid when a customer decides to move forward with Solar Together. This helps cover the work required to assess requirements, prepare the customer’s proposed solar solution and organise participation in the group purchase.
Where the customer proceeds with installation through Myall Enterprise, the US$300 will be credited toward the customer’s installation charges.

INSTALLATION IS QUOTED SEPARATELY
Every property is different. Installation requirements may vary because of roof type, electrical condition, system size, location, mounting requirements and other site-specific factors.
Where installation is required, Myall Enterprise will provide the customer with an installation quotation based on the work required for that individual property.
GROUP BUYING SHOULD MAKE SOLAR PURCHASING CLEARER — NOT MORE COMPLICATED.
Before any equipment order is confirmed, each participating customer will receive information about their proposed system and applicable costs so they can make an informed decision.

YOU SEE WHAT YOUR EQUIPMENT COSTS
Customers should be able to understand what they are paying for. Solar equipment, shared shipping, freight and other applicable import-related costs will be identified as part of the customer’s quotation or cost breakdown.
The objective of combining orders is to spread appropriate shared costs across participating customers rather than each customer importing a small individual order.

NOT READY THIS BATCH? YOUR US$300 CAN MOVE FORWARD
If a customer pays the US$300 administration and assessment fee but decides not to complete a purchase in the current group-buying batch, the US$300 may be carried forward toward participation in a subsequent Solar Together batch, subject to the programme terms.
JOIN THE NEXT SOLAR TOGETHER GROUP BUY
Joining Solar Together does not mean you are immediately committing to purchase a complete solar system.
The process starts by understanding your property, electricity needs, budget and preferred starting point. From there, Myall Enterprise can help identify an appropriate solar solution and prepare your requirements for inclusion in a suitable group-buying batch.
STEP 1

COMPLETE YOUR SOLAR ASSESSMENT
Tell us about your property, electricity situation, current solar equipment, what you would like to power and how you would prefer to start.
This information gives us the starting point for understanding what you may need.
STEP 2

WE REVIEW YOUR REQUIREMENTS
Your information is reviewed so that your likely equipment requirements, property considerations and preferred starting point can be identified.
Where additional information or a site assessment is required, Myall Enterprise will contact you before preparing the proposed solution.
STEP 3

RECEIVE YOUR PROPOSED SOLAR SOLUTION
You receive information about the solar equipment proposed for your property together with the applicable estimated costs and any installation requirements identified at that stage.
You can review the proposal before deciding whether to proceed.
STEP 4

YOUR REQUIREMENTS JOIN THE GROUP ORDER
Once you approve your proposed solution and complete the requirements for participation, your equipment requirements can be combined with those of other participating customers in the appropriate Solar Together buying batch.
Your equipment remains individually identified even though purchasing and appropriate shared import-related costs may be combined.
STEP 5

EQUIPMENT ARRIVES AND YOUR PROJECT MOVES FORWARD
After the group order is completed and the equipment arrives in Jamaica, customers are contacted regarding collection, delivery, installation or the next appropriate stage for their individual project.
Where installation has been selected, installation arrangements are based on the customer’s approved quotation and property requirements.
YOU REMAIN IN CONTROL BEFORE YOUR ORDER IS CONFIRMED
Completing the initial assessment does not by itself authorise Myall Enterprise to order solar equipment on your behalf.
Before a customer’s equipment is included in a confirmed purchase order, the customer will be given information about the proposed solution and applicable costs and will have the opportunity to approve proceeding, subject to the Solar Together programme terms.
WHEN DOES THE NEXT GROUP ORDER LEAVE?
Solar Together group orders are organised according to customer demand, equipment requirements, supplier availability and shipping arrangements.
Rather than promising a fixed shipment date before sufficient customer requirements have been assembled, participating customers will be kept informed as their buying batch develops and before their equipment order is confirmed.
THE MORE SUITABLE ORDERS WE COMBINE, THE MORE EFFECTIVELY SHARED PURCHASING AND IMPORT COSTS CAN BE SPREAD.

HOW BUYING TOGETHER CAN HELP REDUCE COSTS
WHY COMBINE ORDERS?
Instead of each customer arranging a separate small shipment, suitable requirements can be combined into a larger supplier order. This can improve purchasing efficiency and allow appropriate shared freight, handling and import-related costs to be spread across participating orders.
One household may need only a few solar panels, a battery or other solar equipment. Importing a small individual order can mean that shipping, handling and other import-related costs are concentrated on that one order.
Solar Together brings suitable customer requirements together into larger purchasing batches. Where costs can appropriately be shared across the group, this may help reduce the amount of those costs allocated to each participating customer.

MORE BUYING POWER
Combining suitable requirements can strengthen the group's purchasing position with suppliers.
SHARED IMPORT COSTS
Where appropriate, freight and other shared import-related costs can be allocated across participating customer orders rather than being borne by one small shipment.
YOU STILL BUY WHAT YOU NEED
Customers do not have to purchase identical systems. Each customer's equipment is based on their own assessed requirements and remains individually identified.
THE IDEA IS SIMPLE:
COMBINE SUITABLE ORDERS. SHARE APPROPRIATE COSTS. HELP MAKE SOLAR MORE AFFORDABLE.
YOUR ORDER. YOUR EQUIPMENT. CLEAR INFORMATION AT EVERY STAGE.
Solar Together is designed so participating customers understand what they are purchasing, what costs apply and what happens next before their equipment is included in a confirmed group order.
WHAT ABOUT THE US$300 ADMINISTRATION AND ASSESSMENT FEE?
The US$300 administration and assessment fee supports the work required to assess the customer's requirements, prepare the proposed solar solution and organise participation in the group-purchasing programme.
Where the customer proceeds with installation through Myall Enterprise, the US$300 will be credited toward the customer's installation charges, subject to the Solar Together programme terms.
TRANSPARENCY IS PART OF THE SOLAR TOGETHER MODEL.
Our aim is for customers to understand their proposed equipment, applicable costs and the next stage of the process before committing to a confirmed equipment order.
YOU APPROVE BEFORE WE ORDER
Completing an assessment does not by itself authorise the purchase of solar equipment.
Before your equipment is included in a confirmed supplier order, you will receive information about your proposed equipment and applicable costs and will have the opportunity to approve proceeding, subject to the Solar Together programme terms.
YOUR EQUIPMENT IS IDENTIFIED
Although suitable customer requirements may be combined for purchasing and shipping purposes, each customer's equipment requirement remains individually identified as part of the group order process.
COSTS ARE EXPLAINED
Customers receive information about the equipment being proposed and the applicable purchasing, shared import-related and other relevant charges before their equipment is included in a confirmed order.
Installation, where required, is quoted separately according to the individual property and approved scope of work.
WE KEEP YOU INFORMED
Group orders depend on factors including customer demand, equipment requirements, supplier availability and shipping arrangements.
Participating customers will be kept informed as their buying batch develops and before their equipment order is confirmed.
SOLAR TOGETHER — FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You do not need to understand every part of solar before getting started. Here are answers to some of the questions customers may have about joining a Solar Together group-buying batch.
DO I HAVE TO BUY A COMPLETE SOLAR SYSTEM?
No. Solar Together is designed to provide different starting points. Depending on your assessment and requirements, you may start with solar-ready electrical preparation, solar panels, battery or backup power, selected equipment, or a more complete solar system.
CAN I BUY ONLY SOLAR PANELS?
Potentially, yes. If solar panels are appropriate for your requirements, they may be included in your proposed solution. Equipment compatibility and the intended use of the panels should be considered before an order is confirmed.
CAN I START WITH A BATTERY OR BACKUP POWER?
Yes, where technically appropriate. Customers concerned about outages may consider battery or backup-power options as a starting point. The appropriate equipment depends on what you want to power and the electrical requirements of the property.
WHAT IF MY HOME IS NOT READY FOR SOLAR?
That does not necessarily prevent you from starting. Your property may first require electrical preparation such as suitable distribution equipment, isolation, protection or other necessary work. Solar Together can identify an appropriate starting point based on the assessment.
DOES EVERYONE IN THE GROUP BUY THE SAME SYSTEM?
No. Customers may have different requirements. Suitable customer requirements can be combined for purchasing and shipping purposes while each customer's proposed equipment remains based on their individual assessment.
DO I HAVE TO USE MYALL ENTERPRISE FOR INSTALLATION?
Purchasing equipment through Solar Together and installation are separate parts of the process. Where Myall Enterprise installation is selected, an installation quotation will be provided according to the individual property and approved scope of work.
WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY SOLAR EQUIPMENT?
Customers will receive information about their proposed equipment and applicable costs before their equipment is included in a confirmed group order. The applicable payment requirements and timing will be communicated as part of the order process and programme terms.
WHAT IS THE US$300 ADMINISTRATION AND ASSESSMENT FEE FOR?
The US$300 administration and assessment fee supports the work required to assess your requirements, prepare your proposed solar solution and organise participation in the group-purchasing programme.
Where you proceed with installation through Myall Enterprise, the US$300 will be credited toward your installation charges, subject to the Solar Together programme terms.
WHEN WILL THE NEXT GROUP ORDER BE PLACED?
Group orders are organised according to customer demand, equipment requirements, supplier availability and shipping arrangements. Participating customers will be kept informed as their buying batch develops.
ARE SAVINGS GUARANTEED?
No. Solar Together is designed to combine suitable purchasing requirements and, where appropriate, spread shared purchasing, freight and import-related costs. Actual costs depend on factors including equipment, supplier pricing, shipment size, freight, duties, taxes and other applicable charges.
CAN I ADD MORE SOLAR EQUIPMENT LATER?
Potentially, yes. Solar Together is designed to support practical starting points and future expansion where technically appropriate. Future additions depend on equipment compatibility, electrical requirements and the design of the existing system.
